My clock icon is MIA. For me to be able to set the alarm I have to click at the top of my screen on the date and then chosse alarm.

How can I bring it back please? If do a search and type "clock", I see the clock icon but its faded.

If it's 'faded'. That means that you have chosen to HIDE the icon.

Highlight the icon. Press the Menu button. Uncheck "Hide".
