Default Wifi Help

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, I recentley got a bb for xmas. I got the blackberry curve 9300 3g.
I have connected my wifi at home and my wifi is private one that needs a password.
My mobile network is vodafone.

Question; my internet works because it uses my vodafone network to make it work but my wifi doesn't? Like my facebook it needs a wifi connection to work but there is none.
Why does this happen? My old htc phone allows me to go on fb and there is wifi? Why is it different?
Btw I don't have a data plan..
Thanks in advance

The BlackBerry needs a specific BlackBerry data plan in order to use WiFi. It's different than other phones. You'll need to have Vodafone add on the BlackBerry Data Plan to your account.

Will we have to pay extra?

Yes. You will have to ask Voda about the cost, however.
