Hello everybody,

i need to install WhatsApp as a standard application on the devices. I want to use the BES server for this task. But how do i get the WhatsApp files. It looks its impossible. Tried to download it from Appworld but it wants to install it on the device directly....Also i can not find it on the device...

The website from WhatsApp redirects you to the BB Appworld.

Soo i am stuck..

any help is welkome

Contact the developer and ask them to package it for BES.

Or you can extract the files and package them your self, but this is not an easy task for most people.

Is this for BES 4.1 or 5.0?

Check this out:

Index of /file/Appz/WhatsApp.2.6.2175

For 4.1, you need the .alx and the .cod files

For 5.0, you need to zip them up and add the zip.

No guarantee, haven't tested myself.

ok thanks, but do you need all the .cod files or only one and then zip it with the .alx?

We use BES 5.0.

You need to zip all cod files. You can open the alx file with notepad and you will see the list of files needed.
