Default 6230 with t-mobile

Please Login to Remove!

hi would anybody be able to tell me if t-mobile bb come unlocked. i have just bought it on ebay, and the guy says it is but he has never done anything to it.

thanks. but if i was to unlock the bb would i be able to use it in canada, since i dont think the model was sold here before. i was thinking maybe rogers would do it.

You could, but honestly I don't think it would be worth it. You'd be paying more to unlock it than the device is worth. Just bite the bullet on the 6230, put it back on ebay, cut your losses and get an unlocked 72xx (preferably 7290) and have it connected to your favorite GSM carrier.

It's also possible that the 6230 did come unlocked. Just like Cingular Orange devices were unlocked, then those AT&T people joined up and now Cingular Blue and Orange have all locked devices now.

Recently found that there are providers that unlock blackberry remotely. I have not tried but seems cheap.. You can visit blackberryrepairshop.com to get the service
