I upgraded my 7290 today to take advantage of some of the new features. I can't seem to get the wireless sync to map all of my calendar fields correctly. I have it set up in Desktop Manager and it does work; it worked in 3.8 as well. My appointments transmit wireless when added/modified on the bb or outlook. I just can't get the Private field to map. I also can't get categories to work.

Going to desktop manager, calendar, field mapping there are 12 fields for the handheld and only 9 for the Blackberry Wireless Sync. More confusing, the Location field for the handheld isn't mapped to any field and it syncs properly. Yet, the handheld notes is mapped to the wireless sync category and I don't get anything in the notes even though I have a category selected in outlook.

Were you able to solve this problem ever? I do mot see many responses and I happen to have the same problem with an 8700 and BES 3.6.
