Default 8703e and Mapquest Navigator

Please Login to Remove!

I recently installed Mapquest Navigator on my Blackberry 8703e (Sprint). I love the program overall but I'm having two issues with it. 1 is that it takes forever for it to sync with the sattelite and sometimes it won't sync at all. I know the GPS is turned on and working as other GPS systems (BB Maps, Telenav) have no problem connecting.

The second issue is that if Mapquest Navigator is running and a calls comes in (or if I try to make a call) without exiting Mapquest first, there is a constant "clicking" on the line and the call drops in and out (but doesn't disconnect). Any subsequent call experiences the same thing until the unit is reset by removing the battery (shutting it off and turning it back on doesn't resolve the issue). If I exit Mapquest before making a call (or receiving one) the issue doesn't happen.

Has anyone experienced either of these issues before with Mapquest Navigator?

Default Mapquest Navigator known issue

In case anyone reads this looking for a solution, Mapquest emailed me stating that the issue with calls clicking and losing sound etc is a known issue that is on slate to be resolved in the next release. No ETA on when that will be.

As for the lack of GPS connectivity, they told me that the unit must be in direct line with the Sattelite and that lots of things can interfere with connectivity. Got the standard "restart" the device answer on that.

Where is the ctrl-alt-del button on a blackberry?
