I had my box stolen right after I bought my Blackberry 8830. Had everything in it except my phone. Never loaded the installation software or anything else that came with it. What am I missing and where can I get it?
Thank you for the direction. I am currently downloading the desktop software. I guess I just have to go out and buy another BB USB cable? They probably sell them at the Verizon/carrier stores?
Is there anything else that comes in the box that I will need to download or purchase to get the most out of my phone?
You should get a case, belt clip type or whatever you prefer. I would make sure you get a proper USB cable... others will work, but if you could get one the verizon store, do that (or AT&T or TMo store same OEM cables).
If you are going to use the BB as a modem you will also need the vzaccess manager software. I am assuming that verizon will give you another copy of it if you need it.
Just wanted to say thanks for the help everyone. Down loaded the desk top software and the VZW access software for tethering. Using my Sirius Stiletto USB cable, no problems.
Now I am off to search for a tips list, themes and applications needed for the 8830.
