i just put a new 4.5.0.52 OS beta (upgraded from 4.5.0.37) and everything works well, except that BB Maps doesn't show up or work.

Yes, I used the old BB Maps cods and alx file (in the Java directory) from 4.2, not the new one from 4.5. i got rid of all the 4.5 lbs files. Yes, BB Maps shows as an application in the app list on the BB and on the Desktop Manager Applications. There is also a BB Maps -NA service book there that keeps reappearing after several uninstalls and reinstalls of BB Maps through the app loader. I don't recall if that service book was there when I had BB Maps working earlier under 4.5.0.37. Is this still the empty ATT service book?


So, using the old BB Maps, how do I get the icon to appear (no, it isn't hidden) and get BB Maps to work?

I had used the original lbs.alx file from 4.2 and forgot to get rid of the _vendorID codes again.

I "updated" BB Maps with the new alx and now have the icon on the BB.
