Newbie to the forum, and a new Blackberry Curve owner.

I have had my phone for less than a month and it's been working perfectly. However, today I noticed that the rollover design (the orange brackets that frame selected icons upon rollover) has disappeared, and instead there is a light blue square surrounding the icon. Everything seems to function as it should be, but I seem to have lost a graphic. Has anyone here run into something like this before? Is there a way to get it back? Did I change a setting without realizing it?

Please forgive my ignorance. Tis my first smarty pants phone...I'm a late adapter.

Welcome to the BBForums.

The feature you mention is theme-specific, i.e., the theme you choose determines that and is not an option you can enable/disable. Options > Themes.

Try pulling your battery (while still powered ON), hold a few seconds and replace to reboot.

All the difference. The pretty brackets are back and all is well in my little smart phone's world. Thank you so much for the speedy response and the quick fix. Totally belongs in the, "I should have thought of that myself," category, but thanks for not making me feel like a complete moron.
