Mac Connection still has these marked down $200 for every size with free shipping
16 gb is $299
32 gb $399
I just picked one up and admittedly was skeptical (I could always return it), I'm pretty impressed with it. If RIM had come out with this earlier, I'm pretty sure these would of sold well. I think the market is already saturated with Ipads, which makes it hard for RIM or any other competitor to take market share (honestly, most people who own a tablet won't buy another one) - Apple definitely is benefiting from first mover advantage.
I have an ipad 2 and honestly, I like the playbook more. There does need to be a better selection of apps (no WSJ application??), but from an operating system, speed, flexibility, screen and size standpoint (i actually like the 7" better - i can type on it with my thumbs), I think the Playbook is actually superior.
