JSanders is correct. With BIS 2.5, HTML email is a feature. I'm on T-Mobile U.S. BIS and I receive HTML email. Your service provider is mistaken.

I had the exact same problem on my 8310. Resending the Service Books fixed it.

As a Rogers BIS user and a BES user, I can tell you that I get HTML mail on all accounts. I actually got it only on BIS initially becuase my third party BES hosting service hadn't upgraded my server to support HTML mail until last night.

How do you resend the service book? I looked in service book, under options and do not see how you do this?

Thanks

Jim

You have to log into your BIS online. Go to:

https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?b...ular&locale=en

Login and you can resend them from there. Pull the battery before doing so.

**This is assuming your left hand information is correct and you are still with Cingular/Death Star (AT&T)

If I recall correctly, India is part of RIM's Asia Pacific region which upgraded to BIS 2.5 a while back, about two weeks ago before North America.
Jsanders, Mobilink_Pakistan is also a part of RIM's Asia Pacific region and they also upgraded to BIS 2.5 three weeks ago.

I have both BES and BIS now, only getting html emails on BES not on BIS. Asked my service provide and they again told me that RIM is working on it and soon be sending a software path to fix it. That's why I got BES right away to enjoy html views on my BB.

Hmm, I don't have the option either, but I would assume it has something to do with my corporate IT policy, or that they have not upgraded to SP6.
