CV will not work yet as ATT currently does not support the BOLD
once/if the Bold is ever releases it has been said that those users will get CV free.
until then you wont get CV

I can't get CV to work on ATT since it seems to require a Media Net package which apparently cannot coincide with a BlackBerry data plan.
If you have this working, would you mind sharing how?

As in, pay for an additional package?
Or can they add it to the device to give the functionality while only paying for one unlimited data plan?

Excellent. Thanks Sith.
Also, the CV service is comprised of short clips, and is not the same as the TV service that at&t offers, as seen on the LG Vu commercials.

I have the $30 BB data plan and the 700 min family package. I do have a medianet icon (looks like a shopping cart) on my Bold which must be part of the service books sent by ATT. When I open the medianet browser, one of the options is video.

...and what happens when you press the play button on any of those videos that show up? Do you get the "Upgrade Required" screen?

That's it. AT&T pushes a CV service book which takes you there on the WAP browser. But, it appears that you cannot actually use CV. If you try, it will prompt you to get a Media Net plan which you cannot get without first removing the BB data plan.

Spot on jeremy. That's what I have gotten from repeated calls to CS, and my local at&t store. I am waiting for the at&t Bold release to get CV (boy is that a sad state of affairs).

It CAN coincide with it. There is a seperate SOC code for it. Those AT&T Employees that have the Bold can watch CV without any problem. As a matter of fact I have the Enterprise data plan, with BES activated, + CV

If someone finds a rep that understands how to get this done, please let me know. I've tried with numerous customer reps, both over the phone and in the store. Everyone says, "no."

I havent seen a SOC code for BIS users but for BES users it is $55.00 a month and includes CV. It will work with BIS users too but you should be able to get it for $40.00. I will try ang get the SOC codes tomorrow. I have it on mine and it works great.

What do you actually get? I am hearing that it is really just snippets of recorded video... not live video, and not full-length shows.
