Default Not receiving emails until....

Please Login to Remove!

... I remove the battery and then put it back it. Basically a cold reboot I guess.

I've had to do this a few times with this particular BlackBerry (Verizon 7250). I'm frustrated because it's the 3rd one they've sent me. The first one had really bad BlueTooth problems. The next one resolved the BlueTooth problems, but was so fragile I couldn't use it. For instance, if you pushed the screen with any pressure at all, the screen would go blank and the LED would turn solid red. It would lock up all the time when removing it from the holster.

Now with this one, there have been 3 or 4 different instances where I had no new emails on the Blackberry, but the emails were in Outlook. When I confirmed the emails were in Outlook, I couldn't get them onto the BlackBerry until I removed the battery on the BB and put it back in. After the BB started back up, the emails all came flying down to the BlackBerry. I take part in an on-call rotation where we get our info from the call desk via email, so I've been pretty worried. I'm tired of continually calling Verizon about faulty hardware.

Could this be some sort of configuration issue? Does it happen to anyone else? My company does not use a BlackBerry server. I'm not sure what to call it, but I manage my account at webclient.blackberry.net.

Well, let me know what you think. I have absolutely NO software installed on this BB. It's on OS 4.0.

Thanks

Have you tried to do a Reconcile? Does that bring get the emails?

I know sometimes, mine won't get any emails. and by about 11 am I know something's wrong and I do the reconcile and get all my emails and then it's fine.
