Default wmv files in email

Please Login to Remove!

I have searched and forgive me for being computer illiterate, but I cannot find what I am looking for. I receive emails that have attachments of wmv files and I cannot open them. Exactly where and what software do I need to view these? Thank you in advance. Darlene

As far as I know they will not play on the BB. I can download them fine but they don't play.

Are you able to save attachment to your media card? If so, it should work from there.

I don't know how to save it. My options are copy, reply, forward, reply to all, delete or full menu. When I go to full menu and I pick save, I don't know if it is saving it or to where.

it is saving your message, not the attachment.

also, blackberries are not windows devices at all, so they do not include a codec to playback wmv files, or wma or any other windows meda format.

good luck, but i think you might want to tell people to start emailing you avi's.
