Jubrand, your unit sounds exactly like mine. I use javaloader to change net_rim_pdap_todo.cod on my BB to the file from OS version X.198 then everything works fine. Even with this new OS and a fresh wipe I have to do this and I have had to do this for the last few OS. ??????

The only thing that ended up working for me after the TMo update was reverting back to Version 2.56. That one works fine. I'll stick with this for now. Mark knows about the error.

I'm not sure if you're saying that you got 2.61 to work on your unit with the new TMo update though. I've never had a problem in the past just upgrading PDP either with the javaloader or with the OTA download. This is the first version that caused problems.

Default T-mobile BIS upgrade - no email in PD

Now that T-mobile has upgraded to the BIS system for email, PD does not display unread email. Any fix for this?

r111,

Simple fix actually. Make sure you don't have the PocketDay General Setting inbox Only checked and then pop the battery out to reboot. Has worked for everyone else.

Thanks Mark. That did the trick. "Inbox only" wasn't checked, but the reboot fixed it.

Default New TMobile BIS

Mark,

I'm still using 2.56 without any issues, but I'll wait to try to reinstall 2.61 for the time being. Now that TMo has upgraded the BIS, there's a new option to either "Delete From handheld" or "delete from handheld and mailbox" so that you can actually delete emails directly from the server for non BES accounts.

On PD, when I choose "delete" or hit the delete button, there's only the option to "delete" which I think is just off of the handheld. In a later version, is it possible to put both options in so that a user can delete from the mailbox or only the BB right from PD? Right now you have to go into the BB native email program.

I am running PD professional version 2.61 and just upgraded to the new Cingular handheld code (not sure of the number). On my home screed of PD, the list of appointments is now messed up. There is a blank space berween each appointment and when I click on thisa space, I see the detail for the appointment above.

jubrand...with the current OS (4.0.x) I have no control over the delete function. It follows what used to be set up in the email reconciliation option screen.

sroetter...check to see if you have the Show 1st Line of Notes enabled and if there are some spaces in the notes field. Nothing has changed and nobody has reported this before. I'm running the new Cingular code as well...no issues

Bingo Tirsch. I had to reinstall PD after I upgraded the OS and somehow that box was checked. Love the product.

I'm confused. I followed the directions in the readme file and got 2.56. What did I do wrong? I asked for v26 of pdp and that what I thought I got.

Mark, one question.

When I create a task in outlook and sych it into my blackberry the time on the device associated to the due date defaults to 1:00a. Is there a way to change this to default to a different (later) time? I've looked and haven't been able to adjust this setting.

TIRSCH is the MAN!!! He messaged me and asked me to test the latest version of PocketDay as he said it would work on my non-BES CDMA 7250...RSS, Weather, Stocks... everything.

I must admit I was a little skeptical as nothing works on this network... but it WORKS!!! I now have a fully functional version on PocketDay and am happier than a pig in... well you know.

Thanks Tirsch.... you really made my day.
