This company is selling BlackBerry Bold screens by model...

001/004, 002/004, 003/004

Does it make sense or is it just the same screen and the guy's BSing?

Those are part numbers, I can only assume that Bold made in different countries may have got the same screen but by different part numbers, so you can tell which country it originated in.
I don't think it makes a difference, but the price is ridiculas.

after searching on ebay i actually found a screen that a guy is selling with a tool kit, cept with a T-6 screwdriver...the screws are T-5 right? Wow that ebay seller is dumb. lol

i dont know if you allready solved your problem, but just to make it clear, yes there are 3 diferent lcd screens or the bold, in order to get the right one for you, you will have to get the part number that is in the back of your original screen, yes you have to dissamble it, follow the video on cnn.cn to do it, is not difficult, if your get another one it either wont work or it will be malfunctioning. i have the same problem here i have to get (cheap) i hope, one for mine 001/004.

Well I don't know what's true or not, but I cracked my screen and got one off ebay. Mine was a 001/004 and the one I got was a 002. I noticed the circuit pattern on the ribbon was different and when I connected it wouldn't display properly, just one color on the screen. I don't know if mine was defective or it is wasn't compatible. Let me know what works for you as I am still in need of one.

There are 3 different screen model numbers: 001/004, 002/004 and 003/004

I cracked the screen on my Rogers Bold, made in Canada, and ordered model 002/004 from Ebay and its the wrong one. I threw the damaged one away before receiving my replacement - dumb move

Now I don't know which to order...
