I have just installed the latest operating system available throught RIM 4.6.1.231. I have noticed my call log format has changed. I no longer have the in, out and missed call icons next to the contact names. has anyone else have this issue?

I still have the icons in my call log after upgrading. Actually, I still have my call logs from prior to upgrading as well. Either I remember incorrectly or they always cleared on previous upgrades.

How can i get the icons back?

Don't know since mine never went away. Guess you've tried the standard answer -- pull the battery while the phone is on; reinsert battery and let it finish booting and see what happens.

I had to back up certain items, wipe out the unit and reinstall 4.6.1.231 and restore the certain items i backed up. Its all good now.
