Same OS as the Storm, the better they get the longer the start up.

Same problem here ... I think Youtube & Google Maps both think the device is a Storm.

The only other BB with 4.7 is the Storm and not all the apps work on the Storm yet.. I suppose that is because of the Touchscreen however.
Yes. For example, Tiny Twitter which worked on the 8330, does not work on the 9630. I had to switch to UberTwitter, which works great.

Default Pandora

how did you get Pandora? I tried from both the pandora website - which emailed me a link back to it's home page - and from blackberry app world which has the 'review', 'screenshot', and 'recommend' buttons but no "'Download'.

what am i doing wrong? (i've, obviously, never used bb app world before)

Good to hear GPS is unlocked, that's a definite plus.. Any been messing Bolt, the increased power should make that a lot better?

REXwireless has the best support I've ever seen. Those guys are on top of their game! Plus they make the finest products. I can't live without my IdeaMatrix and ToDoMatrix. First things I'll be putting on my new Tour tomorrow when I pick it up.

Don't know about pandora.com, but the Pandora app for BB works perfectly.

Default So far ...

Spent the day with a Tour and officially retired the Storm (for now)

Got the device setup and loaded my usually and all work fine and as noted seem to recognize the Tour as a Storm.

AIM
Facebook
Poynt
Google Maps
WorldMate Live
Pandora
Nobex Radio Companion
Fee Finder
App World

Docs2Go says and upgrade is available but will not upgrade so likely they are not 100% Tour supported yet. I may blow it away and try OTA though.

Default All of my Apps from the Curve worked!

Opera Mini
Bolt
BBWeather, BBToday, BBLight
QuickPull v.2
Sprint (Music, Navigation & TV Premier)
Facebook
Pandora
TuneWiki
vLingo
Empower SMS Viewer
BBSmart Email Viewer & Alarms Pro
CallsBlocker
Noah Bible Study
BEIKS Bible Dictionary
Google Maps

My File Free is @ 121mb - Wow!
No lag issues, no muffled speaker/calling issues, tethered to my Dell Notebook 8 hours yesterday & 10 hours today (with Bluetooth and with the data cable connection; switching up just to make sure both worked.)

I ordered from Sprint Telesales on Sunday, 7/12 @ 9:30 a.m. and received it Wednesday, 7/15 @ 10 a.m. via UPS; I was advised the device was on back order and it would take 7 days, but... Go Sprint!

Lastly, I knew that I was ineligible for the yearly upgrade as a Premier customer, (would be eligible in Nov), but I still called and asked them for the discount pricing. Without fuss, hassle or haggling, the rep ordered the device and I have the same pricing as a new customer/new line. I already have 6 lines on my account and I've been with them 10+ years, so I guess this wasn't a hard decision for them to make.

Overall, I'm ecstatic! Great device, great service, great carrier, great pricing...

Do all these apps seem quicker/snappier with all the extra horse power? (No more hour glass in Viigo, Opera/Bolt a lot faster as well?)

Default Faster... Yes!

I forgot to list Shazam; I had to manually download that one...

I honestly have to say that this device is amazing! I'm guilty of not really playing with the native browser much, but both Opera and Bolt seem to be extremely fast. I haven't experienced any lag issues at all since I unpackaged this thing. After reading other posts, I was prepared for a slow period but it never happened.

I plan to remove the pre-installed media preview, but I've deliberately left it for now to show off the quality to a few non-believers. I've watched A Christmas Story and The Usual Suspects and they look fantastic playing on the Tour!

i am getting requests for Hebrew fonts for the tour, and it was not included in the tour OS. (i do not have a tour) however the semitic font cod was included in the storm. will that work on all 4.7 OS's? it was like that in the past. does anyone want to try it and respond?
