Is it possible to install pc-downloaded programs from micro sd without downloading them with the bb again?

You should use your Desktop Manager to install them and be over with.

i dont recall DM letting you load jad files it will load alx files though, to load jad file from your mem card,

Open the Media application on the blackberry
Press the left button next to the trackball
Click explore
Track down to Device Memory
Press the left button next to the trackball
Click Open
Track down to your /Games Folder
Press the right button next to the trackball
Click Open
Select the JAD file
Select "Download"
The Application will load on to your Blackberry and is now available in your application menu.

media menue-> left button -> explore -> device memory -> left menue -> open...

then, there's only a home and a samples folder....

You can't install JAD files from the SD card unless you also have the COD file to go along with it.

JAD files are intended to be installed OTA.

Actually, it depends on the contents of the .jad file -- if the .jad references an IP address or hostname for each .cod, the .cod files will be automatically downloaded and installed.

yup from the media card, and most themes from Blackberry Themes for all BLACKBERRY models for free have to be installed from media card
