Default Need IP/TCP Ports for Desktop Mgr Software.

Please Login to Remove!

We have a very secure network at the office. This makes it impossible to have the BB Desktop Mgr work correctly, allowing me to sync Outlook with it as the software requires several internet connections to BB to open all functionalities.
My IT Dept says they'll open the ports to for the software to connect, "IF" they can get a list of them all, and it seem there's more than one.

Does anyone have/know them all?

NOTE: This is for the Tour.

Thank you!

This doesn't make much sense.
You're syncing locally with your own machine if you're using BlackBerry Desktop Manager. There's no ports to open anywhere.

If Outlook works on your computer, so will BlackBerry Desktop.

I would have thought so too.
But the software wants to connect to the internet ... if it can't it won't let you open the parameters to option your Outlook files and how they're handled.

We're able to do it on every computer that connects to the internet (home/wireless/etc), but not to the ones with our intense firewalls.

Strange, but it seems this is something new on the Tour software. I'm REALLY hoping someone else had this problem and figured it out!

I did call, but I guess I didn't get anyone who knew what they were talking about as they said I must have a corrupted Tour CD to download from. I'll try to find a "Level 2" phone # for them on these forums.

Thank you.
