Hey folks. I did a battery pull restart on my bold and now it seems to be stuck in a loop of the restart. red light comes on for a couple seconds, then the little clock looking things goes for a bit and then it starts all over again.
Sorry, just a bit desperate to fix this, I've been looking but all I seem to find is the old alt-right shift-del or simply pulling the battery, but seeing as that started all of this, I don't see how it will help (even though i've tried it).
Wiping the device? how would I go about doing that?
What did you do prior to having the problem? Mositure exposure? Did you drop it? New apps, new themes?
Try removing the SIM and microSD and waiting a good couple minutes before replacing the battery. If the device boots up, test with the SIM first and then the SIM and microSD.
Look for the two articles at blackberryfaq.com on using JL-CMDER. Then look at the sticky posts for the latest OS for your model and follow the directions to install the software.
yea read what it said about wiping. I'm really not to keen on doing that seeing as I can't connect to my pc to back anything up.
restarted by pulling the batt (as I've only just learnt about the sorter way using those 3 keys) after a chat program mxit crashed. I've had to do the same thing a number of times. Only now is it doing this.
