So I need to replace an 8520 LCD. I was looking at some LCD's on ebay but I noticed that some don't have the LCD frame and looks like this.



What I'm wondering is, is the LCD frame easy to swap? I can just take the damaged LCD out the frame and put the new one in? I don't have the 8520 with me now, else I would of just opened it up and checked.

Edit. Also what are the different lcd models available for the 8520?

I'm going to bump this one too... I have a user with a cracked screen 8520. The LCD's on ebay are significantly cheaper than the ones on cnn or truesupplier. The frame has me wondering.

Anyone have any experience with this?
