something very weird has happened...

even though i have set my message options to keep messages "forever", yesterday (may 30th) i found out that all the messages & emails BEFORE APRIL 24th have vanished... i have not deleted anything...

everyone else is talking about how ALL their messages have vanished, but for me all messages specifically before april 24 have vanished and i have had this phone for over 10 months...

something else that is pretty weird is that even though i have read all my emails and messages, there is an icon for 2 unread on my main page...

i have a feeling that the phone has archived the messages somewhere, but i checked all folders and found nothing.. i have a memory stick installed too so i don't think its a question of low memory space..

some background that could be causal factors:
1- i removed the sim card a week ago and stuck it into my old phone for a few hours and then inserted it back into the blackberry... maybe this is when messages were lost and confused, but again... why those before april 24th?
2- my software was never upgraded... but this gives no excuse for the phone to delete such a huge chunk...


PLEASE HELP because i am feeling a grave loss right now because i have lost a lot of information...
