Or not.

No, unless you count the subject to carrier certification buck passing. But usually once it makes it to BB Connect it isn't too far off.

Define "usually" and "too far off" please.

All speculation. Nothing more.

Yes, pure speculation.

Default Anybody tried this leak?

Has anyone tried the alleged 6.0.0.214 leak at http://www.bberrydog.com/2010/09/lea...rry-bold-9780/?
It's for a 9780, but 9700 has same architecture. The only difference is in the amount of RAM.
I would try it myself, but I have regretted installing unofficial releases in the past...

I wouldn't count on it anytime soon. With the exception of the Torch, RIM isn't even releasing on it's new devices.

May be BB DevCon will have some pleasant news? I couldn't be more speculative. I guess career certi is biggest bureaucracy.

How about a quick 5.0 update to hold me over? 1446/.862 has been out for some time without an update. I need to update my blackberry or I'm going to go crazy!!

Raptor...just saw your update. You are so on top of these things. My life has purpose...for now.

I was really, really hoping for a OS6 9700 leak to coincide with DevCon. Sad Panda.
