I cannot even get that safe mode thing to work on the good working bb9000 Is there only certain software versions that do it?

HOLY CRAP! I fixed it. I got it back to the point where it said to reload the software, then i ran javaloader -u wipe -a after it was done i opened up the apploader and had it reload the software. booted right up and then i was able to enable mass storage mode and pull off all of the videos.

OK, I am having problems getting the JL Cmder to load (I have a laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit). I see that there is a problem with compatibility.
Is there a fix for this to get it to run?

Hi All,

I have problem with my bold 9000. It goes to blank and white screen. I have tried to use JL_CMDER in order to wipe my blackberry and then I will load the OS into it. But when I tried to run command
JavaLoader -u resettofactory
I got a message:

Error: unable to open port

Can give me some advice on this?

Hi,

I have windows 7 and tried to run JL_Cmder 1.9.2. A cmd screen was displayed with error messages but it disappeared immediately so can't see the error messages. Tried a dozen times and no luck. Did try to run as administrator and same problem.

Any clue?

Check for choice.com in the install directory and delete it. Default install directory is C:\Program Files\JL_Cmder or C:\Program Files(x86)\JL_Cmder if your on a 64bit version of Windows.

it keeps saying error during open. i dont even see anyting on my bb screen(dont know if thats how its suppose to be) i dont hav desktop manager installed. could that be a problem?

For some reason JL_Cmder could not make a connection to your BlackBerry. Do you have BlackBerry Desktop Manager or the BlackBerry USB and Modem Driver installed? If you do then I would guess there is something wrong with the device.
