Default BES email question

Please Login to Remove!

I've read the manual and I read the thread "What Are The Methods of Receiving Email On BlackBerry?" by Mark but I coulnt find an answer to my problem.

I just had my 7130e turned on today and I am receiving all my emails from work. But I donxxx8217;t have an icon for my email. All my emails are going into the icon of a mailbox along with sent email and my entire call log. Itxxx8217;s really messy and was wondering if I can have my emails go into a separate folder of some type.

If it is suppose to be this way if I add another email address will the new email account be dumped in with my call log and current email account?

Thanks

I found it in the manual to stop the call long in the messages.

But if I add another email address will it show up in the same area as my business email?

Wirelessly posted (VZW 7130e: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry7130e/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

Ok, you've found one of your answers (the call logs) already. That will clean up your message icon a lot.

All messages, regardless of source (BES or BIS) go into your current mail icon. If you set up a new account on BIS 2.0, that account will get its own icon, but the messages will go to both icons. BES accounts don't get their own icons.

Now, there is a way you can get the text messages out of there, too. The Zen theme separates out the text messages to their own icon. The trick is to upgrade to the latest available firmware. Since I'm posting from my handheld right now, I can't find the link for you.

Make sense?
