Default phone address book lookup

Please Login to Remove!

In the phone app on my old 7510, if I typed while the cursor was at the phone number prompt, I would get numbers. If I typed while the curson was someplace in the call log area, I would automatically get an address book lookup. This was nice. Now to get an address lookup on the 7100 I've got to fuss with the wheel.

Is there a way to this this back?

thanks!

Press and hold the green button. It will bring up the address list and you can start typing names.

How do you handle this on a 7520. The same thing happened when I upgraded the handheld software.

You can't; RIM removed that functionality (dial by name) from 4.1. Obviously there is no green button on the 7520.
