I use to above URL on my nextel html browser (7520) to send a text message. Since there is a field where you input YOUR phone number the reciever can easily reply to your message. (we cannot reply to them until we open up the text message URL again)
Someone should make a BB app that creates an inbox strictly for SMS messages and recognizes what carrier the message is from. It then would allow the BB user to easily reply. It should also allow the BB user to send a FRESH SMS message. When the BB user enters in the phone number it accesses a web server to determine what carrier the reciever is on and sends it to the corrosponding email SMS. ie:
