Default "searching for network..."

Please Login to Remove!

I did a search and couldn't find anything similar, if i missed it, i apologize.

basically, on my home screen i have the 'Rogers' heading on the top. But when i go into the messages folder it says "searching for network..." on the top. If i go back to the home screen 'rogers' is back up. I don't recall this happening with my pearl nor when i just got the curve, but maybe im mistaken.

In either case, I still receive all my emails even with the message displayed.
I'm just curious if this is common with everyone or if i have an underlying problem somewhere.

I'm on AT&T on a Curve and mine does the same thing, although not all the time. It doesn't effect getting my messages or recieving calls.

It's a bug that's carried through from 4.2.1

I notice mine does it when I am out of my home coverage area.

I have the O2 software installed on my ATT curve, and that problem went away, along with alot of other software problems. The O2 software is really stable in my opinion.
