The Multimedia Center option is grayed out on the tools options. Is there something that needs to be done during installation to make this work?

Thanks!

If you have other versions installed that do not work, make sure and uninstall them and deoete the prog files/mobile phone tolls directory and restart before installing again.
This is the version you need to download

Inverse, thanks for the assistance. Your reply was missing the version/link for what you suggest. The link that you have is to a different version than what is at the beginning of this thread.
Thanks!

Thumbs up

Thanx so much for the link to the old version. Was trying to find some way to get by with the new version, but it just wasn't happening. Downloading the old version as I type this, so hopefully that should sort things out nicely.

Thanx again.

I don't get it. I tried running the Phillips software and all it does is hang and say "PLease Wait..."
I can't pull up the Tools, Multimedia menu at all because it's grayed out.

What OS are you trying to run it in? and what version are you trying to use?

If you use the last link provided in this thread, then you will have the right version. Otherwise just go to you windows browser to your install directory and doubleclick on the MMcenter.exe file, and that should bring up the multimedia program. If that doesn't work, then click this link http://www.fileoperator.com/multimedia.zip open the file, copy all of the files to a directory, and run the MMcenter.exe file. That should get you up and running.

Default Failed uploads

Lucky
sorry for the PN earlier - had not read enough! Have now uploaded and got the Media studio working - thanks guys for all the posts - got the in the end.

Lucky I put a couple of failed .adp files up earlier - can you remove those as they don't play. They are "BBC Cricket Theme" by Various and Soul Limbo by Booker T & the MGs. The one with short in the title is the working one.

This is a great thread and an awesome site - I am an ex Sony P900 user and never found anything as useful as this.

Thanks PK.

n00b here needing assistance.

Having read through most of this thread and following the advice given on here (99.9% of which was extremely helpful I must say) I was able to setup a test server to try and download some ringtones I converted. Now that I'm able to access them via my 7100t BB, I can get them to open-up in the BB media player, but for some reason I do not get the option to "SAVE" them as I've been able to when I downloaded a few other ringtones and alerts from someone else's server. (i.e. http://www.adamdaley.com/wap )

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Might even be able to host a few mp3's temporarily (if the friend who's graciously allowing me to host them on his server would allow it!) Please let me know where I've gone wrong...

Here's the link to the test page if you'd like to try it for yourselves...

Thanks

Default Please help!

Could someone please help me out, for the past three hours I have been trying everything I can to upload a song so I can get it on my phone but I still cant and at this point I am making dents in my computer screen with my head . Here is the file, if I can figure that out even.

http://music.walmart.com/m/000/75/67....01.01.001.mp3 The last 15 sec. instead of the first if possible. If that link is no good you can get free 30 sec clips on walmarts site, the group is the "Transplants", and the song is "Not Today".

Thats the best I can do, sorry I suck at computers, but gimme a car stereo and watch me go!

Thank you in advance
Jaison

Default Problems creating ringtones

I've tried to follow the instructions listed in the begining of this thread but I can't get Melody Studio to recognize any of my files even after I converted them to .wav. Can someone give me better instructions on how to create .adp files for my black berry ? Thanks. Joe

Can someone explain how to set up IIS 5.1 with the proper mime type?
I did go to the Properties, HTTP Headers, File Types section, and added ".adp", and "audio/adpcm adp" (without the quotes), but I still get error 406 on the BB.

Thanks
