Glad you like them.

I'm still using my orignal one I installed for the review.

They really are clear.

That fringing is normal and you won't notice it when your screen is backlit.

That is good to know. I thought it was just mine. Would be nice to have the screen protector stick on the screen 100% as I can forsee dust getting in there and having to replace the screen protector.
I was looking at the other screen protectors and they are all like that; they show the fringe not sticking. Could it be that screen patronus is using heated cutters? Which would make the edges non sticky due to heat exposure? If the edges can be stuck down to the screen, then this screen protector would be flawless. imho, that is the only flaw with this screen protector.

got the protector on a new screen. Looks great. Some of the protectors came with dust on the sticky side though, and I had to ditch 2 of 3 in the pack because I couldn't get the dust off and it was causing air bubbles when installed. Does the company re-imburse for issues such at this?

I'm not sure what their policy is on defects.

Drop them an e-mail and ask. And be sure to report your findings back here as they may help someone else in the future.

I just had the same experience here. One had something red stuck to the backside of it that smeared when I tried carefully to get it off using the corner of a clean plastic card, and the other had a big fat fingerprint right in the middle of it from the factory.

The third went on and looks great, I just wish they'd get their quality control up.

Just got a set of these yesterday, and didn't have any issues-have to say I am very satisfied!

Kudos to lgreenberg for the awesome installation instructions-the endust/canned air/credit card technique worked like a champ!

An extremely easy and forgiving install will have me ordering more shortly. I have tested a number of protectors on my Palm TE2, T|X, Motorola i605 and the 7130c. SP certainly has my vote as a recommended product.

Hold off on ordering for the 7130c.

They are expecting a new order this week. The first batch has some issues.

Default Happiness is a fresh set of Screen Patronus Protectors

I got my newest 8700r a few weeks back and I have been waiting for my Screen Patronus to arrive. The USPS/Canada Postal Service didn't win any awards this time (although Shannon at Screen Patronus customer service was great and responded to my emails of concern immediately).
I finally got them today. At last I was able to pull the original anything-but-clear bubbly plastic protector off the 8700 screen (thank god), threw on the Screen Patronus and got a perfect install first time. (I'm getting good at it; no canned air either although that would make it a lot easier.)
They are so d*mn clear. It continually amazes me.

Just order them today as well. Although the discount code referenced previously didn't give me the discount at checkout.

Oh no! I now have them on my 8700, two cameras, a GPS, an iPOD and my daughter's phone. I feel as though I'm keeping them in business...
