Two questions:

1)How many tmo.blackberry.net email addresses are we allowed to have for free?

2)Does the blackberry get charged while connected to a computer via USB cable?

Default a stupid email question

I'm trying to set up my blackberry.net email on my 8700c, but I can't seem to get anywhere. The only thing I can find on it that has to do with setting up email is the "Enterprise Activation" on the main screen. I went to blackberry's website, and it says there should be a sign in screen, and if there's no sign in screen, you should go to "Email Settings" Well I haven't found a sign in screen or an email settings menu yet. I set up my account on the blackberry website, and sent an email to my blackberry.net address, but nothing happens on my bb. I hope I'm overlooking something silly. Any help for this newbie would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

1) Can I change the font size? If so how?
2) Also on my 7100 I had it set to erase all previous days messages when I sync, and only keep upcomming appointments. Can the 8700 be set the same way?

1) go to Options, then Screen/Keyboard, then you'll see where you can change the font and size separately.

2) synchronization options should be the same as before.

Is there a way to assign a particular ringtone to an entire group instead of having to do it manually one by one?

Create an exception and add your group to it.

And you verified in the Desktop Manager, for Appointments, that you have it set to "synchronize" (rather than import) and in the advanced options, it is set to "transfer only future items"?

Another question for all advance bb users, how do I delete messges in the message folder instead of deleting one by one? Can I highlight the ones I want to delete and delete it?
What is the shortcut to open messages in the messgae folder and on aim or msn?
What is the shortcut to browse things without using the trackwheel?
How do I select things like on citibank.com's sign on screen. I want to select bank acc. To sign on, but it doesn't work when I press enter or the track wheel.did it evry happen 2 U?

To delete many of them at once, click on a date divider and click the scroll wheel and select "Delete Prior". Unfortunately you can't select certain ones like you would with the CTRL key on a PC.

Use the online help for lots of shortcut keys.

On some sites, sometimes you may need to click the track wheel and toggle Select Mode or whatever. I haven't run into difficulties with website sign on screens like you are describing, so I can't be more specific.

You can't simulate the CTRL key like on the PC, but you can simulate the SHIFT key. You can press and hold the NUM button and scroll the wheel to highlight multiple messages. Then you can click the wheel to delete the highlighted messages.

Thank you guys so much, I just got my blackberry 3 days ago and i can't stop coming to this forum with it! I love my bb. I should have got one sooner, but i'm glad i started out with the 8700g.
With the website problem i went into,(fireproof) if you can go to the citibank.com website, you might know what i mean...it will say "sign on to account" all the way on the top and it will let you select like bank acc, mortage, credit cards etc... but i am unable to highlight and choose bank account or the others. when i press enter or the trackwheel..nothing happens, it doesn't bring me into the sign on page.
Thanks once again!
