Depends on the GPS app. Some are free. Some aren't. As long as you don't choose a $10/month GPS app you don't have to pay $10/month.

MY friend has a BB Perl with Tmo. They want to charge her 10 bucks a month for the GPS. I told her to try to go to Advance Options > GPS to see if she can turn it on but she says that the ON/OFF options for the GPS are Grayed out/ Missing.

Is there a way for her to turn her GPS on without paying 10/month?

I'm on Sprint and I have had Google Maps since I got my 8330. The GPS was working at first nowe it only triangulates and I can't figure out why. HELP!!!
