I had the same issue with them, I called the customer service 7 times from the store and I F*** everyone until I got someone in Canada, I refuse to talk to anyone from India (where 99.9999% of the calls to call center goes)
After 4 hours of F*** this and F*** that because I was buying two 8830's and I gave the guy two choice:
a) I cancel right now and Ixxx8217;ll pay the $80 penalty for the remaining 4 month on each phone and I go to Rogers and get the Curve. Or
B) You recognize me as a Bell customer and see the fact that I have paid over $2900 last year alone and I am getting two 8830xxx8217;s.
That is what I got at the end:
I agree to pay $699.99. The Customer Service gave me $250 credit to my account. the Store gave me $200 discount for the Data Plan.
So 699.99 - 200 = I paid 499.99. Then I check my account online and there was a $250 credit. so 499.99 - 250 = It cost me 249.99 on a 3 year contract.
However I got screwed on the Taxes because I had to pay it base on the $499.99.
