Wow, I'm only 28,880 and I went through the levels once and went up to like 20 or 21 before dying again.

got thrown out again ;-(
Last night my blackberry fell on the floor and the battery came out. Of course brickbreaker was reset to start after booting again. And this with more than 1000 lives and almost 2.5 million points
I guess I won't try again to get in the highscore list. I spent weeks to get to where I was, and the game is only fun / challaging the first two rounds (34 levels each). From the third round on it gets boring.... you practically cannot lose the game once you passed the first two rounds.

How do you send your high score?
EVery time the BB asks me if I want to send my high score, it asks for a password, and I have no clue what to do. I am currently approaching 1 million points.

not sure what version I have... probably 3.7 but, who knows. Any info on how to get 4.0 let me know!?
Anyways. My highscore is 26520 and I went through all 34 levels, and it starts over at level 1 and got to level 16 and died.
I've got to 25000 a couple of times but, other than that I can't get past there. Would like 30000, but, I can't beg.

I got up to 1,295,810 with almost 600 lives when the stupid glitch halted my game. This was on my old Pearl and I still have the score on my screen but switched out to my new Curve already. Thus I'm sure I can't do a screen shot. It's true that after the 3rd level it's all the same - hence my quest to maximize lives vs. total score. I know how to outsmart the obliterating ball glitch if anyone wants tips. Plus about 80 rounds in there is another glitch that gets wacky, and I can't outsmart that one. You'll be playing along then the prompt says try again! or whatever, so you don't lose any lives but you do lose any special powers you just had such as Catch, which is very handy in some screens and when you have to start again in the middle without it, it sucks. After awhile, the prompt comes up immediately after hitting your first brick, then with the angle you're never able to hit the last brick directly and after it banks off a wall the prompt comes again. Anyway, I'm glad I'm not the only obsessive brick breaker geek out there. And by the way, I hate the game now on my Curve. The dimensions are all strange and hard to get used to.

Can anyone tell me what happened to the old Plazmic Brickbreaker forum? I participated there, albeit infrequently, and have just now discoveder that it is gone. I was following a particular thread and would kind of like to find it again. Thanks...

score
I'm at 1,108,530 with 53 lives left. The high score on my Blackberry says its just a little over 1,000,000, but on here people have said more. Is there somewhere else to check/post high scores?

The Glitch - I am done!
It took me 26 months to breakthrough the second level. I then had to travel to Asia and worked the game non-stop. I took my score up to approximately 1,075,000 points and about 130 lives. From following the old Plazmic forum (which suddenly disappeared) I was aware that there were glitches in the software - that a ball could disappear into the wall forever, and so on (and that many people had written to the company about the glitches and had been ignored) - but figured I'd risk the chance of being wiped out and try running my points up to a few million to get into the top 100 or so on the leader board. Just the other moring, I turned my Blackberry on and everything was gone, wiped out, vanished. I have now deleted Brickbreaker and will never go back to it again.

finally finished 2X through...
I kept hearing once you got through the set of 34 2X through that the game slows down drastically and becomes much easier...what no one said was it's only easier while your still within THAT game. I've been playing for 4 months and it took me until today to finally get through the set 2X (on my Storm) but by the time I got to screen #1 (for the 3rd time) I was down to one life and lost that on screen 3. It didn't matter because I was SO happy to have broken the code and completed the first two sets twice and was looking forward to a huge change in the game. Unfortunately, my next game was no different than it had been and by the time I got to the second time through, everything speeded up as usual and it was equally as hard to get through that second screen as it has been for months.
Am I right that the game is only easier when your specifically on your 3rd or 4th or 5th time through but once your game ends, it's business as usual??? THAT SUCKS!!!!!

Im approaching 300,000 with 93 lives. Since the lives will be a pain to get rid of when I finally decide to cash my score in, I think once I get past 100 I will stop trying to hard to collect them. Maybe I will start picking up flips on purpose to see if I can get decent when reversed. This should help keep the lives from accumulating, and score faster at the same time.
At 2,000,000 I will pack it in. Of course I expect it will lockup and need a reset before then. :(

Will Cash in at 5 Million
It's been almost two years since I've visited this forum - back in the day when I thought a score of 32,000 was really something! Well, as most of you have attested to - once you get through the 34 levels the 2d time, to use a baseball analogy, the game doesn't thow you any more curve balls but it's all just straight pitching and some fast balls from time to time. I just got a new Blackberry Bold and, fortunately, the glitch where the ball disappears into the wall does not occur. It's now just a matter of deciding when to cash in my chips. I'm currently just a little over a million points with 100 lives as this is my work Blackberry, meaning that playing time is limited, but will probably play on and off until I hit 5 million before turning in my score. Of course, at the rate I'm playing, it will probably be a couple more years before I actually post that score It's funny that you have to put all your skills to bear in order to make it through all the levels the 2d time around and then play becomes more routine as you apply those skills in an effort to maximize points and lives. You then have that itch to post your score when you see those who are still trying to get through to the promise land of easy play posting their scores that are still in the thousands but I'm hoping to not scratch it until I reach the 5 million mark.

Bricker Breaker FREAK!
So, I have had my BB for about a year. I have been playing brick breaker for a while now and I could never understand how the top score on the leader board was in the millions. My top score for a long time was 33,030. Now I know how he/she did it!!! Once you get past the second round of all 34 levels which is very fast paced it goes back to the original #1 round pace. My score right now is 141,630 and I have 33 lives. It shows that I have gone around all the levels 9X. My question is: Once I lose all of my lives is the final score multiplied by the 8X, 9X, 10X ect. of rounds completed???

Because It says your final score and the level that your last ball ended on. It was probably Level nine on the 300th time around!!!
