You need to return the product to whoever sold it do you. You might get TMo to take it from you, but they don't have to do so.

Thanks...that was my concern with ordering from Venicom. I know nothing of the company and it's return practices. I've had plenty of experience sending things back to Amazon and they're awesome with CS. Guess I'll just wait till my Amazon order ships...

Default Venicom terms

Some info on Venicom (since I am in the middle of a deal)

Returns:

Returns within the 14-day trial period would be shipped back to Venicom. (You don't like the phone for whatever reason in 14 days you mail it back to Venicom for full refund. You are out the shipping costs)

Warranty returns for defective phones within the one year warranty period can be done at any T-mobile store.

Fees for getting "funky" with the deal. Taken from email from Venicom

IMPORTANT - TO AVOID ANY CHANGE OR CANCELLATION FEES - PLEASE READ THIS FIRST!

When you accepted or opened the package, you are agreed to the Terms and Conditions of the Venicom, Inc. contract as noted below:

1. You agree to make all changes to your T-Mobile service through Venicom, Inc. at 866.602.9080 for a minimum of 120 days.

2. You agree NOT to port an existing T-Mobile telephone number to your new device supplied to you by Venicom, Inc. Numbers from any other carriers are allowed. Additional fees may apply.

3. You agree not to change the billing name on the account for a minimum of 120 days.

4. You agree not to cancel your service after the 14-day trial period or before 120-days of service.

If any of the above conditions are not met, you authorize Venicom, Inc. to charge your credit card $449.00 as a breach of contract fee.

If you cancel your account within the 24-month T-Mobile contract period, you may also be charged up to $200.00 early termination fees by T-Mobile.

Customer Service: 866.602.9080
Mon-Fri 7:30am-4pm Arizona Time

---end---

So you cant touch your plan for 4 months, unless through Venicom. The penalty is $450

Also - my Titanium 8320 is backordered, they expect to ship next week.

I was able to talk the manager of the T-Mobile (Corp) store I bought my 2 Curves at to give me a discount in exchange for me not returning them and ordering from Amazon. I got $100 a piece back and still can do the rebate for $50 bringing my total price down to $149 without having to do the whole return / purchase thing. I may be spending a $100 more overall but I am happy with it.

My order status still says waiting to be picked up at amazon by USPS. I have a tracking number but apparently it isn't being shipped yet. I ordered on 9/29.

Odd

I ordered on 9/29 also. Mine says shipped Oct. 5 (yesterday), but in detail still says waiting to be picked up by USPS.

Amazon's page for both Titanium & Pale Gold now both say "In Stock and Ready to Ship", so I guess they just got a batch to sell.

I've seen it happen before where tracking information never makes it. I've had items delivered while the only thing showing on Amazon's tracking page was "carrier notified to pickup package" and the shipper's page only said "shipping information received."

I ordered this on late Friday night. Amazon shows a estimated arrival of Wednesday for me (I got 2-day shipping). I've been watching this at Amazon and it looks like they got them in stock late last week.

I'm a current T-Mobile client and am out of my contract. What is the best deal out there for the 8320? Has anyone in my situation bought from Amazon and tried to port the current number over? I need to keep my current phone number.

I decided to work from home today in hopes of receiving my 8320 from Amazon...completely forgetting that today is Columbus Day and there's no USPS delivery! Dammit. If I have to work, they should too!

WooHoo! Mine just got delivered today. Now the question is how do I not play with it while I'm at work...

Should I sign-up for the H@H service (and receive router) over the phone or in-store?

Default My new 8320 has shipped!

Just got notified from Amazon that my new 8320 has shipped. This is my very first PDA/smartphone/whateeveryouwanttocallit and I am pretty excited to sit down and start playing with it.

For those of you who have ordered from Amazon, how long did it take for yours to arrive? According to my e-mail notification, it's being shipped via DHL@Home service and is not scheduled for delivery until Oct 17th. This is Amazon's "standard" shipping method and eight days from now for delivery seems a little excessive.

What's been your Amazon shipping experiences?

My Venicom 8320 shipped yesterday, expected tomorrow. Stopped by the tmob store and picked up the linksys router. The more I read the manual the more I would encourage others to check out this router as it has some features that are designed to save battery life on the phone when doing voip.
