Delays now 1 hour and growing. If this is attributed to RIM's network expansion, they need to find a better way to manage it.

More/long outages=lost customers

RIM redeems themselves if the "upgrade" is due to adding html email capabilities. Let's see that next OS.

My BIS is running fine in California, but my phone wakes at 7AM PST so might have just missed the party.

Sure they have downtime, they can't get email when their Treo's are rebooting for no reason all the time.

Interesting to note, during all this, RIM stock is up 4.39% for this day, at this point.

I am still getting it in spurts, not on a regular schedule.

Seems like the new agency's and Wall street don't see to care much about this outage. Is it because it's only BIS and not BES, or are BB outages becoming too common? I resent service book hours ago and still nothing. Some mail is coming through but hours late. AT&T NYC.

@ imcdona - Nope I'm on tmobile hehe (late response I know!)

I had the same problem, I was affected hardcore when I was trying to send service books to my phone. They now have updated 3x in the last hour =)

I called tmobile, and they knew of a problem on their side.. Not sure about other carriers. Just around the time I hung up with them was when I started getting all my service book updates (1pm mst)

It just shows us that we still need our trusty PCs hah! Phones aren't infallible.. yet :(

I wouldn't call two outages in 10 months common (I think it's up to 4-5 in 4 years). Perhaps it's just me. *shrug*

And it was never an actual outage... it was data maintenance that slowed down data over the networks. Personally i never lost BIS or BES access, but apps that required BIS internet were affected on my end. (ie Telenav)
