Angry BELL 7250 BBWeather not working

I've been reading through every post and have NOT found a solution so please forgive me if it is out there...

I have a BELL 7250 with the latest OS and simply cannot get BBWeather to work. I got the usual IPPP missing error (I have IPPP for BES? but do not run BES), disabled the Proxy Setting, and now I get the BAD DNS error. As per some suggetions I selected UPDATE NOW and continue to get BAD DNS errors.

Can someone PLEASE help us (by us I'm refering to the countless other posts that seem to be having the same problems) by posting a fix for this? Is is there a fix? Is this program just not written well, do we have to go into the source and supply a different gateway?

Hey developers, what's up?

THANKS!

You have the same problem that I do with Telus.... Bell restrict access to 3rd party software.

Ok, I have tried to install bblight via "OverTheAir" directly and the install fails. So I downloaded the zip file, extracted the files and used my Desktop Manager and pointed it toward the .alx file, but that also failed to finish. I'm using a 7510 with v3.7.2.15 (Platform 12.0.32) and the exchange server version 3. Has anyone else had success with this?

Disable the MDS Proxy in the software's options and disable the firewall.

I have the same issue. Has anyone been able to answer your question? Did you figure out to do this?

I have 10 emails in my inbox. Yet on BBToday it shows 76/145 (new/old). Where are these numbers coming from?

Talking Which Model of BB is the software made for?

It's great to find opensource software for the BB but I did not see any mentioned about which model this software was made for. I have a 7100g and was wondering if it will work with mine?

Default Signature Warnings?

Tried to install bbWeather, but was told that the "modules could not be loaded because their digital signatures were invalid". Can any one help me out? I'm new to the whole BB world, and still trying to find my way around the little guy.

Default Mark BBLIGHT is buggy on a 7520

Mark I'm assuming this is your app and forgive me if i'm wrong. The Nextel 7520 doesn't function correctly on external power with your BBLight software. The light comes on when you initially plug in external power but goes back out again after the predefined setting in options. I'm running 4.0 and yes I've activated BBlight as all other functions (on activity and on unholstering) work like a champ. In discussions with other blackberry owners with different models this isn't a problem. Maybe they aren't understanding what it is that isn't working though who knows.

I had a similar problem. I would spend 5-15 mins each day looking for the folder where the messages might be. I finally gave up and uninstalled.
