Does the CFL really need it's own section separate from sports? That is really annoying. No complaints otherwise.

Yes they gave us minor league or semi-pro football.

While in the latest beta, within about 20 seconds my phone would lock up. Then while using Jivetalk my phone would lockup. In total about 7 lockups. So I removed the latest beta and went back to 2.2.118 and all is well. Guess there is some issue on phones with 4.5.0.42, running Jivetalk.

I don't miss it either since I too noticed podcasting and WiFi options are still disabled.

Hi all,

Please note that we are in the early stages of the Beta and we hope to add additional functionality to the beta over the summer months. The first beta was meant to stabilize the WES edition and add a few items (stock quotes demo and entertainment links, for example.)

Remember there is a "Beta Feedback" link at the bottom of the Viigo main screen, so you can quickly provide us with your feedback at your convenience.

Cheers,
Pete

We hear you on CFL service at the main level.

Note that this version is a beta and the CFL is there to show users simply what is possible in Viigo.

Later on it will be placed in the Sports Section.

Issues with logging into the Private Beta:

For the small number of users who had issues logging into the private beta download yesterday, please try logging in again today (with the same login details provided in the email). Apparently, there was an authentication issue yesterday that has been resolved today.

Thanks for your patience.

Is the private beta, 0.71?

I received an e-mail a few days ago but did not get the popup. I only upgraded from the WES version.

Petey, perhaps you can clarify something...

My understanding from reading the e-mail I received is that this particular release is a "public" beta and (I'm assuming based on some of your posts here) meant more as a demo.

There will coming, next week (?) a private beta, that's only open to those that signed the NDA. In other words, there will be some future beta releases that are not open to everyone that downloaded the WES version... and discussion of those versions (and the download links for them) is forbidden by the NDA.

Or will anyone (including those that didn't sign an NDA) continue to be allowed to download new versions?

If so, can you please release those of us that signed an NDA, since there are plenty that have the app and are not subject to the NDA?

Thanks.

Does anyone know the full set of keyboard shortcut keys for the new version?

I sent an e-mail to Viigo asking, but they've ignored me.

I would be happy clarify:

There are 2 betas, a Public Beta and a Private beta.

We hope to have mutiple releases of the Public Beta and Private Beta over the summer months, (dependant on a number of factors).

The Public beta is open to everyone. The link to the Public beta download was available last night but we are officially launching the Public Beta today.

The Private beta is only available to a limited number of users; that link was also available yesterday, and is only accessible once the user has agreed to the NDA.

If you have agreed to the NDA, and you have downloaded the Private Beta, discussion of the Private Beta is forbidden on any public forums and the distribution of the Private Beta download link is forbidden as well.

We kindly ask that all Private Beta users abide by the terms of the NDA.

The Private Beta releases will include features and functions that will not be in the Public Beta releases.

Hope this helps.

I realize its beta but come on.....its not an entirely new product to blackberry. I think Viigo should have tested better before this beta 3.0.71
