Synchronization Issues

I am in the process of rolling out blackberrys in my firm. We started with one unit which we sychronized to the desktop for the first week then setup on a Verizon BWC. After a couple of days we realized the delay would not work for us. So we bit the bullet and purchased the Enterprise server for Exchange. I have the server up and running and things look fine. However, the original unit is having problems sychronizing to the exchange server (i.e., messages deleted/changed on the unit are not deleted/changed on the server) Also if the owner of that unit sends an email, the from address is now the default address in BWC not the Exchange address. I deleted all accounts from the BWC except the default Verizon account. (I am not sure you can even get rid of this).
Any ideas??
