Syncing Additional phone numbers from AD for lookup from a device

By default, the Telephone number field in AD is synced over to our 8310s from AD. That way when a user does a Lookup from his device, he can grab the phone number of another employee. It won't sync additional phone numbers though. Ex. Adding another phone number by clicking the "Other..." button next to Telephone Number on a user's AD properties.
Do any of you know how to do this?
