I am a long time SE fans but I just made a decision, and bought a BB 8700g (well, without doing much research! :( )

anyhow, i got few questions:

1) can I download attachments (word / excel / jpeg / mp3 ) from email?
2) can I send a word / excel / jpeg / mp3 thru BT, and send them as an attachment in email?
3) if I can't send files thru BT to BB, how can I get files to my BB?
4) can I use mp3 (song) as ringtones and/or alarm?

any tips and tricks would be very welcome.

Well, I'm sorry, I cant answer every question, only because I dont want to be wrong, but, yes, you can d/l attachments, powerpoint, word, excel, jped and mp3 from email, and yes you can have mp3 ringtones. The only thing is i have a bb 8700c, so I hope theyre the same compatibility wise, or at least very similar. Thats why I dont know on the Bluetooth.

yes u can use mp3 song as ringtones and alarm..

You can not transfer files through bluetooth though. You could upload them with an wap uploader like www.coolservice.dk
