Default Help needed! How do I delete duplicate contacts from my address book?

Please Login to Remove!

Hiya

I've just got a Blackberry 8110. Duly downloaded Desktop Management software, and set up all the filters etc. to synchronize from my PC to my handset. However, every single contact in my handset is in twice! Even though I have checked the option to NOT allow duplicates!

Is there any way I can just delete my entire address book and try again?

Thanks for any help!

Hi Zocster

Thanks for your reply.

It's acually contacts in my address book which are duplicated. I just can't see how I wipe my address book clean, and start again with the synchronisation process?

Anyone?

Thanks!

Wirelessly posted (Tmo's cheapest BB customer)

Open up BB Desktop Manager>Backup/Restore>Advanced.

You should see 2 columns, the left one should be databases for your device. Scroll to your adress book and hit the clear button at the bottom.
