Default Password keeper password?

Please Login to Remove!

Can anyone tell me how to re-set the main password for the Password Keeper function? I have the 7100i (for TELUS) and I purchased it as a corporate store return so I'm thinking that the original owner set the password?

I checked the user guide but it doesn't make mention of how to do this?

honestly not sure....but i bet a master reset would do the job...return it back to factory default settings....then resync it back to the corporate server if you have one.

You need to wipe the handheld to get rid of that password. If you search the forums, there should be lots of help with wiping it.

I did a search for Wipe and it looks like it will also disable my messaging services? I'm on BES - will I have to contact my sys admins to give me access to services again?

yes.....some BES will resync automatically....some do not after a wipe....they may have to have you redo your enterprise activation....not sure

password for what? Is the BB asking for a password to get into the BB? If you don't know the password, 10 attempts will wipe all the data. You may still be required to setup a new password, however, because it sounds like it might be required by a previous IT policy
