Default Missing emails in Inbox

Please Login to Remove!

I've been running BES for a few months, no issues at all. I have an 8310 on AT&T. I've been able to view folders, manage inbox, syncing has worked great. Deleting emails on the handheld deletes in Exchange 2003/Outlook/OWA.

A few days ago, I was in limited cell service - I was checking emails like I normally do - at some point, my inbox only started showing 5 or 6 emails - instead of the 50 or so that are in my Inbox. I have tried reconciled and still nothing shows past 2 days ago. New emails show up just fine, just not showing older emails. When I try and view another folder, it just says *No Messages*.

Any ideas on what happened and how I can get the emails back on my handheld? Memory is fine - nothing changed there, no new installs, no changes in the BES server configuration. I have no idea what is causing this or how to remedy - any help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like your memory got too low and it deleted messages and logs to free up space. I've heard others mention memory leaks being a possible cause. Fortunately, messages deleted in this manner are not touched on the server. To help keep this problem at bay I do a battery pop about once a week.

How can I get the emails back in the Inbox? I've pulled the battery but the Inbox still only shows emails from two days ago forward (BES). The BIS emails are fine.

Unfortunately they won't go back. The only way I know would be to forward them back to yourself which isn't ideal. Sorry. .
