Default "App Error 523" Reset

Please Login to Remove!

Twice in the last two days, I have received this message and the 8800 has reset. Does anyone know if this is related to a memory issue?

I am not too careful about exiting programs, but if it is a memory problem, I will be more diligent.

Thanks

From the RIM site. I searched the support page for "error 523." It says it's for the Pearl but I'm guessing it's the same.

Quote:

Yep if its a JVM 523 error the only resolution i find is to perform a complete reinstallation of the OS.

Thank you for the information. I may try to delete my most recent program - if only I could remember what it was. I believe it may have been BBWeather.

If I have to do the OS, does that mean a wipe of the present device?

I installed the latest AT&T OS, and the problem seems to have been fixed. Thanks again.
