1.3.0 installed. Application manager thinks it's 1.3.0, but the app seems no different and actually reports as the previous version (1.2.3) in it's About screen. Removed it from the Applications menu. Device rebooted. Still, the old version is on the home screen - and loads! Battery out reset... STILL on the home screen and STILL RUNS!
I dowloaded this last Friday and "road tested" it over the weekend-very impressive-I use that satellite views when I'm close to my destination to look for landmarks...nicely done little ap!

I installed on my 7130c, got an error.
Deleted under Applications. There is no mention of Google in Advanced Options -> Applications.
Google Maps version 1.2.3 is still available somehow, still runs fine.
Are you kidding me? Of course running a graphics/processor intense application is going to run down your battery more than when your phone is just sitting idle. Thats fairly obvious my friend. Does your car run out of gas quicker when you're flooring it down the highway, or idling in a parking lot?
