Default Monaco Apex Hydro BlackBerry 8700c Case

Please Login to Remove!

For those of you who were looking for a hydrofoam case for your 8700c, I found a really nice case for under $20 at wirelessground.com.

It has a ratcheting swivel clip which forms a low profile, has nice padding inside, and the sleeper magnet works like a champ!

Funny that I also received my StiL case today from Fortte as well. I'm actually happy with both of them, and will use the Fortte when dressing up for work, and the hydrofoam case for times when I'm running around in the car (has a little more padding than the Fortte and protection around the corners).

what exactly is a "sleeper magnet"? what does it do? and is it only a BB function?

The sleeper magnet is used to turn off the BB screen when put in the case, turns it on when taken out of the case, and allows you to have case-specific profile settings (such as vibrate for messages when BB is in the case, ring when outside the case).

Does anybody knows a way to get this case in Europe?

The site doesn't seems to make worldwide delivery.

Hang in there and keep searching the web over the next few weeks. I think this is a brand new case, as there were only 1-2 vendors listed when I originally searched, and now lots of other vendors have listed it in stock.

I ran across one company (aluron.com) that carries the same brand for the Motorola Q phone. You might contact them to see if they'll be stocking for the 8700c.
