We just received the full version of the BES 4.0 software. I'm going to uninstall the trial version and install the official licensed version of the software. Do I have to do a wipe on all devices or can I just re-activate them on the new server? Also, can I use the same database or will a new one need to be created during the setup? I'm using the same server and same besadmin username. I only have 6 users. Also, I have the original database setup on our SQL server.

You dont have to reinstall the BlackBerry Server.

Just remove the Trial SRP Identifier and Authentification Key using the BlackBerry Enterprise Server Configuration Tool and remove the CALs.

Guide for MSDE:

1)Stop all BES services
2)Go into the command line
3)Enter the following command (you might have to switch to your db directory):
osql.exe -E
4)Enter the following lines:
1> use BESMgmt
2> delete from LicenseKeys
3> go
(message with count of rows affected)
1> exit

Open the License Manager of your BES Manager and insert the new CAL.
