Are you having your BIS client check GMail via POP, or are you forwarding your GMail to your BIS email?
Have you tried pushing the Service Books again?

yup, you will need to push the Service books again. Same thing happened to me, pushing the service books again started the flow from gmail once again.

I was having a similar problem yesterday and when I went into Individual Email Activation, and saw that my Hotmail account was listed as suspended. I set it back to active and am getting email again. I have no idea what its problem was, or why it decided to suspend itself. I missed whether you were forwarding or POPping. If you are forwarding, go into the forwarding options in Gmail. If your forwarded email is bouncing, Gmail will have a red warning under the forwarding address.

On BB:

Go to options....advanced options....host routing table.....wheelclick....register now.

This would at least help us narrow down where the problem may be.

I am having issues with Gmail as well. I have tried the suggested fixes. Will keep you posted.

Just got this on the Cingular BIS when trying to update password:

Email Accounts

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Unfortunately your request cannot be completed at this time. The transaction has been refused due to SERVER problem.

One more update:

I get the same error when I try to delete the gmail account in BIS. I am going to use Gmail forwarding from now on.

If you have your BB set to poll, that's 15 minutes. Push only happens if you set your gmail to forward to your BES or @*.blackberry.net address.

Just using the BIS will get you polling email, roughly about 15 minutes between retrievals. For optimum email performance, you should get a Gmail account and have all emails routed through it and sent directly to your BB. That way you get true instant email delivery - in about 2-5 seconds from being sent. You also get the benefit of using Gmail filters for spam killing, and Gmail will archive every email ever sent to you - forever.

Default How many?

How many emails do you have in Google. I think there is a limit to what it will poll. I have some info on filtering on my tips site. Note that is different than forwarding.
